The Truth Always Comes to Light

David McClam delves into the theme of betrayal, particularly focusing on the complexities of trust and deception in personal relationships. He introduces the concept of 'foreign betrayal,' where an individual you trust turns against you, often motivated by financial gain, fear, or the desire to maintain friendships. McClam emphasizes the importance of recognizing the potential repercussions for those who choose to betray others, questioning whether they consider the evidence that could be used against them. This discussion serves as a prelude to a more personal narrative surrounding the case of Ladonna Humphrey and Kaya Penfield, underscoring how betrayal can manifest in unexpected ways, especially within the realm of true crime advocacy.
The episode takes a sharp turn as McClam recounts his experiences with Kaya Penfield, who initially sought his help for her cousin's case, Deanna Stevenson. As tensions mount, he reveals how Penfield's actions led to a public vilification of McClam, prompting a stark reevaluation of their relationship. He details how her failure to disclose critical information and her manipulation of the narrative not only undermined their mutual trust but also jeopardized the quest for justice in Deanna Stevenson’s case. McClam’s frustration is palpable as he articulates the ramifications of Penfield's betrayal on his work and the broader implications for the advocacy community.
As he prepares to take a bold step forward, McClam announces his plans to travel to Arkansas for a series of exclusive interviews, vowing to uncover the truth about the allegations surrounding Oasis, a facility in Arkansas. He calls upon those who have accused him to meet him face-to-face, challenging them to confront their claims directly. The episode wraps up with a promise of accountability and transparency, as McClam indicates that he will erase all traces of the Stevenson case from his podcast if the integrity of the information cannot be guaranteed. This commitment to truth and justice underscores the central message of the podcast: betrayal may bend but will never break the pursuit of truth.
Takeaways:
- Betrayal often comes from those we trust the most and can involve multiple motivations.
- The importance of keeping evidence, or 'receipts', in case of potential betrayal.
- When someone shares misleading information, their intentions and integrity should be questioned.
- Transparency and truth are essential, especially when dealing with sensitive cases like Deanna's.
- Kaya Penfield's actions have raised concerns about her integrity and the accuracy of her claims.
- David McClam emphasizes the need for accountability in the face of deception and manipulation.

Foreign betrayal is when someone that you've trusted decides to stab you in the back.
David McClam
Sometimes the things that they portray you over is money or friendship or utterly being afraid of someone.
David McClam
I think in this particular case, it could possibly be all three.
David McClam
But when somebody betrays you and spits untruth, that person should think about, does the person I'm betraying have receipts?
David McClam
Does it have any backlash?
David McClam
Will they expose me?
David McClam
Well, this is such a case.
David McClam
But all I can say to those who she decided to side with is, you should always watch the dog that is carrying the news.
David McClam
This is We Are Not Afraid, the podcast that exposes the truth among all the lies.
David McClam
I am your host, David McClam.
David McClam
You are listening to Exposing the Witch Hunt of Adonna Humphrey.
David McClam
Episode 14, the Truth Always Comes to Light.
David McClam
Happy New Year, everybody, and welcome back to We Are Not Afraid.
David McClam
Of course We Are, the podcast where we seek truth, expose lies, and refuse to back down.
David McClam
Of course.
David McClam
I am your host, David Mlam.
David McClam
Today we have a lot to unpack, so strap in because the truth always comes to light, no matter how hard some people try to keep it hidden.
David McClam
All right, so stay tuned to the end of this one.
David McClam
I'm going to tell you what the future of this podcast is, what I am about to do, and we'll go on with that and we'll let you know exactly what's going to go on here in the next few weeks.
David McClam
But let's jump into this one as I promised you.
David McClam
And I know a lot of you guys have missed me because let me see the emails I got.
David McClam
We scared you off.
David McClam
We win.
David McClam
We scared you off.
David McClam
The Internet, bro.
David McClam
Where you at?
David McClam
That means you guys don't listen.
David McClam
The last one I got, oh, it's the end of January.
David McClam
You said you'd be back in January.
David McClam
I never gave a date.
David McClam
So I'll be back in 2025.
David McClam
But all this proves to be is you guys have no life because you guys have been spitting this stuff all over Christmas break and everything else.
David McClam
I didn't think not one ounce about anybody in that Reddit thread.
David McClam
I didn't think about Javier Leave or Anthony Christopher.
David McClam
I was on winter vacation.
David McClam
The only thing I thought about was working until I had those days off and spending Christmas and New Year with my family.
David McClam
So I want to thank all of you that I'm so important that you guys couldn't do without me for the last three months.
David McClam
But listen, I said I would be back.
David McClam
Here I am.
David McClam
No one scared me of anything.
David McClam
From what I'm not Scared of any one of y'all.
David McClam
None of y'all.
David McClam
So how did you win?
David McClam
You won nothing.
David McClam
A person that wins something means that there was something to win, right?
David McClam
So are you trying to say that you won the truth battle because you didn't?
David McClam
There was nothing to win.
David McClam
I just went and took a break.
David McClam
And to prove one, I had a family go spend time with.
David McClam
But the other one was to prove that you guys just could not stay off of it and could not be quiet.
David McClam
So here we go.
David McClam
I promised you guys the first episode that we were going to talk about and I was going to drag Kaya Penfield through the mud.
David McClam
Kaya Penfield decided that she wanted to post some text messages that was supposedly supposed to prove that.
David McClam
Indeed, Ladonna Humphrey is writing my scripts and we was all in it together.
David McClam
Well, I guess she seemed to forget I have a phone too, and I have text messages and we're going to get into a little bit of that.
David McClam
And also that you guys should watch the dog carrying the news because how else did you guys think that I knew what was going on?
David McClam
Step by step.
David McClam
When you guys tried to stalk Ladonna Humphrey at CrimeCon, I got that proof too.
David McClam
But let me just kind of give you guys a little bit of a background.
David McClam
So many of you have followed the journey of the case that I did involving Deanna Stevenson.
David McClam
Deanna Stevenson is Kyle Pensfield's cousin.
David McClam
It is a case that I poured my heart into and dedicating countless of hours to research, interviews and advocacy.
David McClam
And I believe in getting justice and giving Deanna a voice and in helping a family that was in pain.
David McClam
If you don't know a lot about Deanna Stevens case, the long and short of it is she was estranged from her then lover, went over to the house.
David McClam
They accused her of coming over in a drunking mess, pretty much.
David McClam
And that she jumped on people.
David McClam
If I'm just giving you the quick synopsis, basically they were.
David McClam
She was accused of being aggressive that Ollie Plunkett supposedly shot several warning shots in the air, but because she feared for her life and ended up shooting and killing Deanna.
David McClam
Now, I've had my own personal thoughts about it, but let's continue.
David McClam
So that was what Deanna Stevenson's case was.
David McClam
Now, what you need to understand is I did not go seeking after this case.
David McClam
Kaya Penfield came seeking after me.
David McClam
We were both a member of a website called Popage.
David McClam
Popage.
David McClam
Excellent, excellent service.
David McClam
What they do is they put people together.
David McClam
So if you're an author and you're looking to be interviewed by someone interviews author.
David McClam
They will from the algorithm put you together, say, hey, these are people that you should rate, or they will pop up in your box and you can decide to contact them or not.
David McClam
It is also one of the only services that I know of that actually pays you for completing interviews.
David McClam
Uh, so that's how I met Kaya.
David McClam
Kaya actually reached out to me.
David McClam
She had told me that she was doing a podcast about her cousin and the name of the podcast was called Standout Ground.
David McClam
She needed to get some more eyes and ears on it and wanted to know if I was interested.
David McClam
So after I read through everything that she sent me and I listened to the trailer, I contacted her and said, hey, not only can I help you on my show, but I do another show where this is perfect for.
David McClam
Because this is all we do over there called Extinguish.
David McClam
So that's how Kya and I got hooked up.
David McClam
But as we all know, you know, for the time we was working with Deanna and helping her take the backlash and I was actually writing letters that was going to go to people there in her state and gonna, we was gonna advocate to have her case reopened.
David McClam
So, you know, when you think you got somebody that you can trust, portrayal comes from the places that you least expected.
David McClam
So Kaya, who was supposed to be in this for the truth, chose deception instead.
David McClam
Not only did she fail to disclose all the evidence, she intentionally withheld crucial screenshots and omitted parts of conversations that would have given a complete picture.
David McClam
This isn't just misleading, folks, is also very manipulative.
David McClam
Let's tackle the things at hand that she decided to put up there.
David McClam
But first of all, let's go back to the beginning of this.
David McClam
See, I have all of this right here.
David McClam
You should watch the person that's carrying the news.
David McClam
And if I can't get this off, I'll definitely do screenshots and put them on the website so you guys can see them.
David McClam
So now when all this happened, Kai was the first one.
David McClam
Okay.
David McClam
She was just blowing my phone up.
David McClam
She was the one that was telling me what was going on at Crime Con.
David McClam
There's several screenshots I can show you to where she wrote me and was telling me everything was going on, blah, blah, blah.
David McClam
She didn't know how close he was to James Renner, but I saw him calling on out the post about her in the Crime con group.
David McClam
I don't know if you saw it or not, but I send it to Amy and was like, I am so sorry.
David McClam
To say this, but y'all might want to leave early.
David McClam
This is when she was at crime.
David McClam
I hate that.
David McClam
So.
David McClam
So.
David McClam
But her package from us arrived.
David McClam
So she sent a package to ladonna that I think contained the book and something else.
David McClam
She actually made reference to this when she was on my show.
David McClam
And to clear up the whole show thing, yes, there was another show that is not this one.
David McClam
Okay.
David McClam
We have thought about doing a show that would have answered this to a degree, but it would have been without Odonna, and it was going to take a different point on that.
David McClam
Now, I'm going to tell you this.
David McClam
Ladonna is the one that's fighting for her life.
David McClam
She can write whatever she wants.
David McClam
So I'm going to tell you guys this again, and I got many lawyers to back this up, and I'll.
David McClam
I'll beg one more time since they keep saying it.
David McClam
If you have any proof that this is not true or that you can prove that she's read my scripts.
David McClam
Anthony Christopher, Javier Lever.
David McClam
I'm gonna say it again.
David McClam
It's 2025.
David McClam
Let's go to court.
David McClam
Oh, and by the way, I haven't been to jail yet, but I digress.
David McClam
So let's go to court.
David McClam
But she wanted to write scripts for what we were going to do.
David McClam
It was not going to be a direct podcast like this that was going to directly take out Javier leaving Anthony Christopher.
David McClam
I was going to come from a different vein.
David McClam
However, Kaya was the one that wanted to do something, and she wanted to be a part of everything.
David McClam
And so I had said yes for this particular podcast.
David McClam
And if you was to read through the screenshots that she gave you, or if she was to post the whole thing, you would see that there was no mention of.
David McClam
We're not afraid.
David McClam
There was no podcast mentioned at all by name.
David McClam
It basically just said what we was going to do.
David McClam
And at some point, yes, she would want to write a script for it.
David McClam
And being that we would not be really talking about Anthony Christopher anyways, because that's not the direction I was going, then it would have been totally fine.
David McClam
Again, her gag order is she can't say anything negative about Anthony Christopher, which was not the.
David McClam
Which was not the case.
David McClam
So as.
David McClam
I mean, dude, I have hundreds of text messages here, so I'm just scrolling through right now.
David McClam
So as you go through them.
David McClam
I said, yeah, she would want to write some of the scripts for that particular podcast.
David McClam
And she came back with that.
David McClam
She wanted to be her own.
David McClam
I said, basically, is this going to be Like a blueprint.
David McClam
Okay.
David McClam
So the blueprint would be like bullet points of whatever we were going to talk about and how we're going to lay it out.
David McClam
The way I was going to come at this before was not the way that We Are Not Afraid ended up shaping up.
David McClam
I was just going to come and take Javier Lever out at the knees.
David McClam
I was not planning on discussing Anthony Christopher at all.
David McClam
Even though throughout our text messages I did say he was part of my French an and that he needed to be dealt with.
David McClam
Yes, I've said all those things.
David McClam
I've said all those things you guys hear.
David McClam
So it ain't no secret.
David McClam
However, as time went on, I started thinking about and as the Pretend podcast went on, I started thinking about maybe this is not the right way in which we should go with this because of the fact that I needed to hit them directly now.
David McClam
This time Kaya Penfield got a new job and I sent her the trailer to we are Not Afraid Now.
David McClam
This is after.
David McClam
If you go up and you read that.
David McClam
I was trying to get rid of Kaya Penfield very gently because she started having, you know, working late nights and jobs.
David McClam
So indirectly I started saying, I don't need you anymore.
David McClam
Let me, let me get to those texts.
David McClam
Here's what I said back in June.
David McClam
Friday, June 7th at 2:09pm this is part of me trying to get rid of her because now I want to take this podcast in a different direction and I knew that she was in a job so we was going to use that.
David McClam
Which really wasn't using it because she was busy at the point.
David McClam
But here's what it says.
David McClam
Says, hey, Kaya, thinking about our conversation and I know you are busy.
David McClam
I don't want you to feel pressured to do this.
David McClam
If you don't feel you will have the time, that is fine.
David McClam
If you could help me behind the scenes with the website and stuff, that would be great.
David McClam
It would be awesome to do this with you.
David McClam
But I totally understand.
David McClam
Time constraints ball is totally in your court now.
David McClam
The behind the scenes was just running the website or putting things up that was there.
David McClam
Didn't want her to feel like she was totally ousted because let me just put this straight since I think this is where the portrayal comes from.
David McClam
She wanted to be the voice of the gay people saying that she knew that Adonna was not homophobic.
David McClam
This is the main reason why she wanted to step out and do this.
David McClam
Just to let you know that.
David McClam
Okay.
David McClam
She replied that she could start looking into it.
David McClam
First steps is going to be Buying the domain name.
David McClam
We talked about that she uses namecheap.
David McClam
And, you know, we saw what it costs.
David McClam
And then that's what I realized that basically she was going to use the same thing that I use anyway, which was Pod Page.
David McClam
That's what I use for my website.
David McClam
And it works very, very nicely.
David McClam
And then what ended up happening is she came back and she says, we won't be able to actually make the website because I just got a job and they distract me.
David McClam
So I'm in orientation.
David McClam
This still good for podcasts.
David McClam
So she's still saying she wanted to come and do the podcast.
David McClam
I said, congrats, we'll be looking to start recording right away.
David McClam
Had an interview yesterday and have another one tomorrow now.
David McClam
Some of the same interviews that I had already done or that I would.
David McClam
That I've done on this show, I was going to do also on that show.
David McClam
Right.
David McClam
So Chris Corner.
David McClam
And there's, I think, one other person that I was going to do that I said, they will still make good candidates to come over here.
David McClam
She says, thanks and perfect.
David McClam
I'll be getting my work schedule for this month, hopefully this weekend, and we'll send it over asap.
David McClam
She then said that she had got a call from the State Patrol.
David McClam
She was in the final stages of maybe qualifying for a job with them.
David McClam
So unfortunately, she didn't think that she was going to be able to co host the podcast.
David McClam
I'm so sorry.
David McClam
I will see how else I can help that I was happy about because I didn't have to continuously continue let her down.
David McClam
And then my response to that was, I will be releasing an episode shortly.
David McClam
And then I did send her the article that Dennis McCaslin wrote about the documents.
David McClam
That was it at that point.
David McClam
We Are Not Afraid was born.
David McClam
I can post all of these.
David McClam
There's nothing in here that you see this is anything about we're not Afraid.
David McClam
Nothing.
David McClam
I was going to hit Javier leaving a different way.
David McClam
Couldn't do that.
David McClam
I had to come direct at him because he was coming direct at Ladonna.
David McClam
So there's your story.
David McClam
You can believe what you want to believe.
David McClam
I really don't care.
David McClam
But I have all the text messages right here and the ones that she decided to cut out.
David McClam
And I'm sure that people over at the State Patrol would not want to know that she's part of a trolling group that is law enforcement and they take that much more seriously than anything else.
David McClam
I have friends in the law enforcement around here that got fired for more simplistic things.
David McClam
Than that.
David McClam
So I think what she should be worried about is if the state patrol down there finds out that she's partaking in a trolling group, what that could potentially do to her job.
David McClam
See, people don't think about these things when you work for the public.
David McClam
So since she withheld all of that, since she wanted to portray people, since she wanted to come and lie, let me tell you, she could not even afford to do her own cousin's case.
David McClam
She was seeking out after podcasters like myself that would take on her cousin's case because she want her cousin's case to be heard.
David McClam
A lot of them told her basically in nice tones, kick rocks, but they use statements like, I'm sorry, we don't have time.
David McClam
I'm sorry, that's not usually what we cover.
David McClam
My schedule is really bogged down.
David McClam
She has told me and ladonna herself that she couldn't get anybody else to cover it.
David McClam
She has since removed these posts, but there was even post that was made on her Facebook page about how grateful she was to ladonna myself because we're going to take on this case when nobody else wouldn't.
David McClam
And all of the evidence in which she possesses, which I still have copies of, okay, that is the crime scene photos.
David McClam
That's the.
David McClam
The checklist they use for interviews, whatever the police have.
David McClam
And she got, I have.
David McClam
She didn't even pay for that herself.
David McClam
So if she's gonna go and lie on people, why don't she tell her truth about when people try to help with her cousin's case?
David McClam
She didn't pay for herself.
David McClam
Another podcaster who felt sorry for her and felt like that she should have her cousin's evidence ponied up the money.
David McClam
Now, she won't tell me how much it was, but believe me, folks, it's in the thousands.
David McClam
The package that I got, and knowing the law, that mug went from between 2 and $5,000 on the low end to get what she got.
David McClam
There was a lot of printed stuff and a whole lot of stuff that she digitized.
David McClam
Somebody else paid that for her.
David McClam
So you want to portray the only podcaster that was gonna.
David McClam
That sat back and did anything for your case.
David McClam
The only podcaster that offered you two shows, the only podcaster that stood in the trench with you when you was getting attacked, the only podcasters that stood behind you and your podcast that the production value wasn't that great with in the first place.
David McClam
That was ladonna and myself.
David McClam
But now, for whatever reason, she wants to hop aboard and she wants to jump on the Anthony Christopher and the Javier labor bandwagon.
David McClam
Why?
David McClam
Is because you believed them when they said that I said I was going to have the Westboros Baptist Church, which I never said name of the church come and beat up drag queens.
David McClam
Is that what got your paintings in a bunch?
David McClam
Which I've already proven that that's not what I said.
David McClam
I have it clear in transcripts.
David McClam
I've done two episodes on it and I have already dispelled the police report that I was supposed to be going to jail over that they told him to kick rocks to right before the end of last year.
David McClam
What goes on from here?
David McClam
I don't really do this out of maliciousness.
David McClam
I actually like Kaya.
David McClam
But you want to call somebody out and you want to lie.
David McClam
I should.
David McClam
You should have already known about what I've been through already with this podcast and dealing with Javier Lynn, Anthony Christopher.
David McClam
I was coming for you.
David McClam
So let me be clear.
David McClam
I will not stand by and allow half truths and or deceptions to be used to twist a narrative.
David McClam
So because of this portrayal, I will be removing all episodes related to Deanna Stevenson's case from my podcast as well as extinguished.
David McClam
And here's the sad point about that.
David McClam
Since everyone's about a horrible podcast, I am if she really wanted traction on her cousin's case, she screwed that up.
David McClam
Because if you type in the name Deanna Stevenson in a Google search, I am the first one that comes up more than twice your top five true crime authors.com the tragic death of Deanna Stevenson in the Quest for Justice, true crime and authors.com unraveling the mystery behind Deanna Stevenson's tragic death.
David McClam
Then there's a Pensacola News Journal State won't file charges in Fairfield Drive.
David McClam
Stand your ground.
David McClam
Then there's a tick tock Deanna Stevenson's case.
David McClam
Then there's Apple Stand out ground the Deanna Stevenson Case Podcast.
David McClam
I trump her own podcast on her own cousin.
David McClam
Which means if you guys don't anything by analytics.
David McClam
If somebody's looking for information on Deanna Stevenson's case and they type in her name, they always click on the first five links.
David McClam
Which means that true crime and authors would be the first one they see, the first one they click on and the first first exposure they get.
David McClam
But not anymore.
David McClam
I feel bad for Deanna Stevenson.
David McClam
I feel bad for whoever her family is that maybe had nothing to do with this.
David McClam
My whole thought behind this was to try to get Deanna Stevenson's case reopened to have it looked at from the evidence that I Seen the things that Deanna had written before she passed away.
David McClam
However, if I'm getting a lot of this evidence, other than what I got in writing from the police, from Kaya, and Kaya is lying, then I have to assume that everything else that she told me could also be a lie.
David McClam
Just like I did with Alicia Lockhart, and you guys didn't like that neither.
David McClam
It's a hypothesis.
David McClam
One part of the hypothesis is wrong.
David McClam
The whole hypothesis is wrong.
David McClam
It is a lie.
David McClam
So I refuse to be associated with a situation where transparency is compromised and integrity is thrown aside.
David McClam
And for those of you who have supported the work I've done on the Deanna Stevenson's case, I appreciate you.
David McClam
But if we're going to stand for truth, we have to stand all the way.
David McClam
And that means cutting ties with anything or anyone who tries to distort reality for their own gain.
David McClam
By the time you guys hear this, any trace of Deanna Stevenson's case on my podcast and or Extinguish will be gone.
David McClam
I have washed my hands of it.
David McClam
Good luck to her family members.
David McClam
But you have a family member that has lied on me, and more on me than ladonna.
David McClam
You don't lie on me and get away with it.
David McClam
My platform I offered to you free of charge when everybody else wanted to charge you to do so.
David McClam
So now is it really true?
David McClam
Did Ollie Plunkett really killed Deanna?
David McClam
Was it really in cold blood did her there?
David McClam
Well, we know Ollie Plunkett did.
David McClam
She admitted that she pulled the trigger.
David McClam
But did her ex love have anything to do with it?
David McClam
Is the house exactly what you say that it is?
David McClam
I don't know anymore because I got a lot of information from you.
David McClam
So since you want to lie and betray people, here's where you are.
David McClam
And I was the biggest podcast out there next to your own that was covering this case.
David McClam
And you know, believe me, just go and do.
David McClam
Even though mine will be gone.
David McClam
So once I remove this and you do type Indiana Stevenson true crime models, 20 people will not show up.
David McClam
But just for y'all, I'll go ahead and take a screenshot of it right now so you can see exactly that I'm not lying to you.
David McClam
But now you have to rely on, well, if you believe her or not, her own reporting on the case, which is now questionable.
David McClam
All right, so that's it for.
David McClam
For Kyle Pinfield, like I've promised you, that's what we're going to talk about.
David McClam
And that's what we just did.
David McClam
Now I'm sure she has Rebuttal, Whatever.
David McClam
She should be ashamed of herself and hopefully for her sake, nobody from law enforcement catch wind of this.
David McClam
I'm not turning anybody in.
David McClam
I have not.
David McClam
But everybody has ears.
David McClam
And when these kind of things happen, law enforcement starts to pick up on them.
David McClam
Especially when somebody like Anthony Christopher Javier Living made a big stink about it and she's all over a Reddit thread.
David McClam
And I can prove the that the post comes directly from her because I have the exact same text message she called herself posting it becomes hairy.
David McClam
But let's talk about what is next.
David McClam
There was a rumor going around while I was gone that stated that I had been to Arkansas three times since I've started this podcast.
David McClam
My first question is how the hell do you guys know where I'm at?
David McClam
There was no social media post that was supposed to say I was there.
David McClam
You didn't hear me say I was going to Arkansas.
David McClam
I don't know how you just arrive at that, but I bet you I do know.
David McClam
I bet you I do know.
David McClam
I bet you I do know is a more of the made up stuff that you guys like to say.
David McClam
Or maybe Anthony Christopher showed up and said, oh my gosh, Dave's in Arkansas.
David McClam
Let me tell you, that's the case.
David McClam
He's lying.
David McClam
I've never been to Arkansas a day in my life as of yet and I can prove that because I'm the most geotracked person that you know.
David McClam
My wife and my kids, they have me on find my all the time and my job.
David McClam
Well, I have to get paid mileage.
David McClam
So because of that I have a tracker that runs on my phone 24 7.
David McClam
I never turn it off because I figured if I ever turned it off that I was going to forget to turn it back on.
David McClam
And that is what helped me keep up with my mileage.
David McClam
The name of the app you guys want to check it out for yourself is called Mile iq.
David McClam
I've used this tracker for the last several years and not only does it tell me how far I went, but it gives me full addresses and states and I can even send you the itinerary that I had when I was in Texas.
David McClam
So no, I have not been to Arkansas.
David McClam
You can start making that lie up, but that's all about to change.
David McClam
In a very short few weeks, I'll be heading to Arkansas for a series of exclusive interviews that I will shake things up with.
David McClam
Yeah, I'm gonna do what a real journalist does.
David McClam
See, Javier Leyva and Anthony Christopher sold you guys down the river with a boat full of Lies.
David McClam
They said Oasis was messy.
David McClam
They said Oasis was dirty.
David McClam
They said they had more women in there than they should.
David McClam
But the one thing that neither one of them ever did, and it's sad because Anthony Christopher is like an hour away, is they never went there.
David McClam
They never stopped in for a surprise visit.
David McClam
They didn't come with some cameras.
David McClam
They didn't come with some microphones.
David McClam
They don't.
David McClam
They didn't go in there, say, hey, I know this is a surprise visit, but if anybody wants to talk to me, I'm here.
David McClam
Don't try to do it now.
David McClam
Javier, you had your shot.
David McClam
He's just gonna be looked at.
David McClam
Oh, he's only out here because David's coming.
David McClam
Yep, I'm coming.
David McClam
And I will be talking with Oasis of northwest Arkansas.
David McClam
They are for anybody who don't know, an organization that has been doing incredible work to help those in need.
David McClam
I'll be talking with people who have been hurt by John Allen from Lake Hills Church.
David McClam
You know, the dude that they hold in such high esteem.
David McClam
And how d you talk about the dead, and he was such a great man.
David McClam
Well, I have people that decided they wanted to talk to me and to give me their story and to set all y'all straight.
David McClam
And these people deserve to have their voices heard since the crack journalist himself hasn't went and done it.
David McClam
I'll also be talking about individuals who have been affected by Patty Rush, Anthony Christopher, and others.
David McClam
These people that I just mentioned have inflicted harm and gotten away with it for far too long.
David McClam
So here's how this is going to work.
David McClam
I am going to Arkansas in the next few weeks.
David McClam
Nobody knows when that is.
David McClam
I'm doing that on purpose.
David McClam
Now, before you guys want to go out here and get your panties in a bunch, I'll just go ahead and put out there.
David McClam
Yes, at some point, of course, I am going to meet up with the one and only Ladonna Huffrey after I have popped in and made my surprise visit.
David McClam
After that, I will be meeting up with her and we can continue the conversation with some of these other people.
David McClam
Even they don't know when I'm exactly showing up, because I said, in a few weeks, I'm gonna jump in and surprise people.
David McClam
Y'all can say, well, he's announcer.
David McClam
They gonna know.
David McClam
Okay, well, let me tell you what that would entail if this is such a crooked organization.
David McClam
I said, a few weeks.
David McClam
That could be in the next two weeks.
David McClam
That could be in the next five weeks.
David McClam
That could be in the next eight weeks.
David McClam
It could be February could be March, April, May, June, could be any month of the year.
David McClam
So that means that they would have to be on top of their game all month if they were cricket.
David McClam
I just want to point that out.
David McClam
That's hard for cricket organizations to do, by the way, because that's a whole coordinated effort with the things that Anthony Christopher has accused them of doing.
David McClam
You can't just take women that you've put in there.
David McClam
Let's what they say, I 30, 40 women or something like that.
David McClam
You can't hide that many women away quickly without you knowing somebody's coming.
David McClam
Also, just to put this out here, and I hope talk to some of them.
David McClam
You do know that there are state agencies that drop in the Oasis of northwest Arkansas all the time, unannounced, right?
David McClam
Even down to the attorney general that they tried to seek on them.
David McClam
So there is people that just showed up.
David McClam
I got.
David McClam
I saw an article where Dennis McCaslin just showed up one day and they opened the doors up to him and said, all right, I know you're on the noun, but come on, let me show you the whole facility.
David McClam
He wrote a whole article about it.
David McClam
Now, when I am there and when I have done what I need to do, anybody who wants to meet me, because I plan on being there for a few days, I got all these people to talk to.
David McClam
So it's not going to be a trip where I'm just going to show up and then I'm going to be gone.
David McClam
I'm going to be there for a little bit, for a few days at least.
David McClam
I will say it to y'all again.
David McClam
If you want to meet me, Anthony Christopher, Javier, you want to fly out and meet me, I will let you know exactly the dates that I'm there after I show up at Oasis.
David McClam
I will tell you the beginning date.
David McClam
Well, the date after I meet with them, but I'll tell you the date that I am there then.
David McClam
And I will tell you in the dates in which I'm going to leave.
David McClam
So here is your invitation.
David McClam
If you decide that you want to meet up with me, all you got to do is send me an email.
David McClam
Hell, I think Javier Leave even has my phone number.
David McClam
You can send me a text message.
David McClam
You let me know where you would like to meet at.
David McClam
I'll meet you in any public place that you wish.
David McClam
I will have my cameras with me.
David McClam
I'll even bring my recording device and we can sit down and have a conversation.
David McClam
And you can present to me all of the things that you say is wrong.
David McClam
I'll Let you present your case.
David McClam
You can tell me all the things that you said about ladonna Humphrey is true.
David McClam
You can present me your evidence on that.
David McClam
I'm happy to listen.
David McClam
I'll give you my rebuttal.
David McClam
I'll record the whole thing.
David McClam
I'll post it.
David McClam
Now, before you guys want to go out and lie, let me say what this is not going to be.
David McClam
And let me say this frankly so that everybody can hear it.
David McClam
I didn't invite you out to beat you up.
David McClam
Did not say you was going to get beat up.
David McClam
Did not threaten you, did not say one word of violence.
David McClam
Offered to meet you in a public place, Said that I would have cameras as well as audio equipment.
David McClam
So therefore nobody can go back and and lie and say I showed up and did whatever you want to say that I did.
David McClam
So I am coming with no type of violence in my heart.
David McClam
But if you want to meet, if you guys want to prove me wrong about everything I said about the two of you, that you guys are just a bunch of liars that has no proof and no evidence.
David McClam
And because you and your keyboard warriors don't have the guts to come out and meet me face to face and to say the things to my face directly with proof that you've said about me on the podcast, show up.
David McClam
But I'll bet everything I have in the bank dang gonna come.
David McClam
Because it's easier to tell a lie about someone or to someone when you're not confronted.
David McClam
But you hear it and your whole audience hears it.
David McClam
Right now.
David McClam
I'm giving you the opportunity.
David McClam
Don't even gotta come by virtual screen.
David McClam
I'll be in Arkansas.
David McClam
Oh, and by the way, if I am going to jail, send the police because now you don't have to come to California to get me.
David McClam
By the way, folks, I've supposed to been in jail.
David McClam
What is it now?
David McClam
Six, seven months ago?
David McClam
Still here.
David McClam
They're not working with anybody.
David McClam
Ain't nobody going to arrest anybody.
David McClam
I've already dispelled their little police report.
David McClam
They keep lying to you and you guys just keep buying into the rhetoric.
David McClam
So there you guys have it.
David McClam
I will be in Arkansas.
David McClam
Sometimes in the next several weeks, I will pop in and see oasis of Northern Arkansas without them knowing when I am coming.
David McClam
I will record everything that I do there.
David McClam
I will walk through with my phone or my other cameras and I will record every room for you.
David McClam
I will record every dining room for you.
David McClam
I will record everything the oasis of northwest Arkansas will allow me to.
David McClam
Here's what I'm betting They're going to do.
David McClam
I'm going to show up and say, hey, I'm David McClan and we're not afraid.
David McClam
I just wanted to come down here and do what no other journalist has done.
David McClam
They've accused you guys of hiding tax records.
David McClam
They've accused you guys of overstaffing.
David McClam
You have women that has a grudge with you, who has accused you of running a filthy place.
David McClam
They have accused you of booting women out.
David McClam
They've accused you of having no process.
David McClam
So I have come almost 1200 miles just to see for myself and do what a true journalist should have done from the beginning, which is to come pop in on you and see if it's true or not.
David McClam
Is it possible that I can get a tour of the place?
David McClam
That's what they're going to hear from me when I get there.
David McClam
Now, that's just that part.
David McClam
Where does this podcast go after I return from Arkansas?
David McClam
Whenever that is, you guys will know for a fact.
David McClam
Once I get there, do my Oasis run like I promised.
David McClam
I'll release the dates if I got to do a quick episode and say, hey, here's the dates.
David McClam
I'm here.
David McClam
I'll release them now.
David McClam
I'm not on Twitter anymore.
David McClam
I am more on Blue sky at this point.
David McClam
Make sure you go to Blue sky and follow we're not Afraid if and I'll post it there when I'm in Arkansas and when I'm going to leave.
David McClam
Anthony Christopher and or Javier labor are both.
David McClam
I hope to see you, I hope to meet you, and I hope that you want to sit down and we can do this and put this to rest.
David McClam
What is going to happen with the rest of the show?
David McClam
So you've heard this episode.
David McClam
I have about one more episode that I'm doing on exposing the witch hunt.
David McClam
Ladonna Humphrey, and then I'm going to close out this season.
David McClam
However, I will be back after I come back from Arkansas and I will give you the recordings there and what I endured and what I saw and that will a hundred percent end it.
David McClam
But I'm gonna go ahead and end it now and then I'll bring that back and then reclose it because I have yet another case in which I need to focus my attention on.
David McClam
Just wait.
David McClam
There's a lot more to come and it's going to be powerful.
David McClam
Speaking of what's to come, let's talk about season two of We Are Not Afraid.
David McClam
Yeah, you guys.
David McClam
They all was done, didn't you?
David McClam
I told you I was gonna figure out.
David McClam
I was gonna do after I got done with Donald Humphrey's case.
David McClam
Well, here it is.
David McClam
I've been watching closely as certain individuals try to rewrite history, spread falsehoods and manipulate facts.
David McClam
And one of those people, Javier Leiba, this is someone who has pushed outright lies about innocent people.
David McClam
He's damaged reputations and twisted narratives to fit his agenda.
David McClam
And it's time for the truth to be told.
David McClam
So in season two, we're going to expose the lies, the distortions, and the people behind them.
David McClam
No more hiding, no more running.
David McClam
And if you thought season one was fearless, you haven't seen anything yet, man.
David McClam
And with the way the political stands is right now, I'm in a fighting mood.
David McClam
And I'm in the mood to help get people, get justice from people that lies on other people, like Javier Leva does.
David McClam
So stick around.
David McClam
You don't know what it is yet.
David McClam
Oh, but season two is coming and it's going to be powerful.
David McClam
So I want to thank each and every one of you who continues to support this podcast, who stands for truth and who refuses to be silenced.
David McClam
We are in this together.
David McClam
Betrayal won't stop the truth from coming out.
David McClam
Lies won't silence those who fight for justice, and manipulation won't rewrite reality.
David McClam
So stay tuned because the truth is just getting started.
David McClam
And always remember, even if it doesn't seem like it right now, love will always conquer hate.
David McClam
I'll catch you guys on the next one.
